ABOUT

Maddie Emodi is a Berkeley-based marketing & communications professional with deep experience in – and a huge passion for – the world of food.

Maddie relocated to the Bay Area in May 2017, after nearly a decade in New York City. She spent over four years leading the Events department at Momofuku, a fast-growing, globally acclaimed food and media brand, and most recently worked with Danish culinary entrepreneur and philanthropist Claus Meyer, co-founder of Noma. 

In her early career, Maddie was an Account Supervisor in FleishmanHillard’s Corporate and Public Affairs group, where she managed international communications programs on behalf of the federal government of Brazil, among other public and private sector clients.

Maddie has master’s degree in Food Systems from New York University, graduated from the Culinary Techniques program at the French Culinary Institute, and holds a B.A. in Communication and Politics from the University of Virginia.
